After attending an energy efficiency business event run by Tewkesbury Borough Council, the Smartline team will be going green by identifying ways to make energy savings and reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
 
Abid found the event a real eye opener and by following a few simple steps he anticipates it will make a real saving for his company. Staff will now be switching off unnecessary lighting and office equipment and turning off their PCs before leaving the office. The team hopes to carry out a more in-depth survey in the next few months and draw up a green action plan.
 
Smartline already operate a paperless office - only printing when absolutely necessary, and recycle printer ink cartridges to help reduce waste going to landfill.
